Steve Jobs recently revealed the 2nd generation of iPad which he said much better compared to the previous generation when it terms to speed, graphics rendering and width. The iPad 2 is now dual core using the latest Apple chip A5. Here’s CNET coverage of the official announcement of the latest Apple device.

Now for the availability of this device in the country, I checked on their Philippines online store (http://store.apple.com/ph), there’s no display and price information yet but in the US store, you can start ordering iPad 2 on March 11, 2011. Now for the price of iPad 2, it will be likely the same as the previous generation which will range from P19,990.00 to P36,990.00.

Now if you’re asking if I’ll gonna buy this one, to replace the 1st generation iPad that I have, well the answer is YES but I will still go for Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1.

The problem with Samsung Tab is that they don’t have online Samsung Store in the Philippines (unlike the Apple Store) where you could buy accessories online. I still think that Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is more powerful the this 2nd Gen. iPad.
